this movie should be applauded for the same reasons a film like a marriage story is applauded; you feel like you’re seeing the unfolding of a real life family in a real life scenario. the story line didn’t feel made up, or fabricated. it felt real. and although this was based on true events with real people, the acting and directing of the film only emphasized the reality, rather than letting us escape into all things film. well done.
