A Serious Man 2009
Was very entertained the entire watch. It was funny, it was pretty to watch, and it was sad. I’m a bit confused by the end I won’t lie though. It wasn’t satisfying and I didn’t feel like there was any true resolution but that’s also the point of the movie: we will never be satisfied or get a resolution due to the uncertainty of life.

Expectations were high as it was directed by THE Francis Ford Coppola, the award winning and renown director of movies such as The Godfather and Apocalypse Now. However, all of this flies out the window when you watch Megalopolis. I say this with the least amount of over exaggeration possible, this was one of the worst movie experiences of my entire life, the only thing making it bearable was laughing at the absolute absurdity and insanity that was on display.…

Had some high hopes but this was so slow, so long, and weirdly didn’t really make me feel anything. Nothing felt connected or have much reasoning and I don’t really get the point nor are many of my questions answered….hopefully one day I’ll rewatch and understand it but this was not that day. We had no resolution to Walt and Anne after Hunter left. I will say it was super pretty though, really nice shots, compositions, and colors.
