There’s a lot of charm here. Michael Keaton is fun and the practical effects look good. The dance numbers hold up 30+ years later. The unnecessary queer coded character I could do without.

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice 2024
I watched the first one immediately before the second one, I’d never seen it before.
The drop in quality is like if you slipped coming down the stairs but rather than the next one catching you, somehow you missed all of them and hit your head on the tile at the bottom.
This movie didn’t need to exist and nobody wanted to be in it. I still hate Tim Burton.
