Thought this movie was pretty fun. Would’ve liked more gore though and far less gun violence. I enjoyed the robbery subplot, reminded me of You’re Next in a way. As always, appreciate a late 60’s Mustang. And I love that homeboy named her Iris due to The Goo Goo Dolls.

Not a fan. I’m sorry. It was a beautifully shot film, and very well acted. Cinematography on point, incredibly atmospheric. Loved Skarsgard, Depp, and Dafoe. I also love me a good period piece.
However, this was a snoozefest. 95% drama and 5% horror. The entire film is dialogue. Normally I love dialogue heavy films, I am a Kevin Smith fan after all. But this just dragged. The movie had no substance.

This movie was heartbreaking and triggering in all the best ways.
What I thought was a modern Pretty Woman actually turned out to be much more. The film was absolutely hysterical but incredibly emotional and sad. Poor girl was used in the worst way by an asshat who didn’t actually care for her.
Shout out to Igor, only person in the whole film who saw Ani as a human.
As much as I’m supposed to hate Vanya, I still find him attractive. Lord help me. There’s something wrong with me.
