This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
The movie absolutely fails to capture or understand what made the original game intriguing or scary at all- so many choices that completely zapped any tension or eeriness at all. Say what you want about Five Nights at Freddy’s (the game) but its really off-putting because of how in the dark and helpless you are- whereas in this movie there is no threat at all until the final 20 minutes.

Well shit… I was really looking forward to this.
First things first, the sound and visual effects are incredible- definitely worthy of a cinema viewing. I also was piqued with interest whenever Oppenheimer’s mental state and guilt were touched upon or the inner workings of the A Bomb.
However, for me, this film buckles under its immense cast of unmemorable characters and casts its net too wide when a feature more streamlined and trimmed would’ve been significantly less laborious. I…
