The title suggests another cannibal jungle trek, but this film is closer in tone to Dawn of Dead than Mondo Cannibale or Cannibal Holocaust. All the way down to the pairing of funk music and flesh eating.
Most movies starring John Saxon are worth a punt, and this is no exception.

This movie proves why practical effects are the best. Ironically, it proves it with its use of practical AND its use of CGI. You'll understand why once you've seen it.
Fan service went too far but great characters and good horror kept me invested.
