This is one of those films I loved when I was younger, we'd put the dvd on and have a blast. As a history lover, there was so much cool stuff to look at!
Watching it back now I can see that's the whole premise - how much cool cgi creatures and things can we stuff into this film with a token story thrown in??!!

Chaotic but brilliantly fun! Watched at the cinema with a packed audience, laughed a lot, some uncomfortable half-laughs as well.
From the beginning - with fast-paced action and very noticeable cuts - you jump right in to the character of the film. There is action at every turn and it's great fun, some strange moments, but the final showdown is brilliant and Michelle Yeoh is just awesome!

One of my favourites, never fails to make me laugh!

Watched this last night and maybe it needs more time to fairly comment. Very difficult to go in with an open mind considering the negative feedback, so I felt distracted watching it at many points. Had high expectations too considering how much I love Whiplash.
I feel like if I watch it again in a few years time, the experience will be different; the pressure will be off and I might be able to enjoy it. In some fairness, some bits were good, and it looked epic at times but it overall just didn't click for me.
