Saltburn 2023
Dare I say the most enjoyable film I’ve watched for 2023… so disturbingly fun and that’s why it’s so good! I haven’t been able to sleep soundly at night knowing Felix died like that. He deserved better honestly but Oliver really put in that work so it was well played. Oddly enough I wished we had more scenes w Oliver and Felix romantically for the plot…. Nonetheless just a great movie and I’d rewatch it again for “the plot”. (Jacob and Barry and rosamund pike is quite literally mother).

Best slasher film of the decade
Where do I even start… this was totally my fave new slasher film. The 80’s and present combined in this film was so good, and I loved the fact that it wasn’t your typical corny, cringey and misdirected pov on what gen z’s are nowadays. Such a fresh new take on time travel films like back to the future. Sure there were a few clichés on the film but I actually found it interestingly…

Legitimately gave me nightmares for a week straight. Definitely one of the best horror films of this year and decade. Extremely unique, fun, eerie and exciting to watch. Rylies scene was the most traumatic I’ve ever seen in a horror film tbh 🥲 very underrated and more people should see this icon of a film. period. Love the lead, seeing her everywhere lately. She brought life to the film, and had such excellent acting skills. 5/5!
