  Kurosawa's Y2K era. This one is so underrated. It was my first Kurosawa film back in my early adult years. I love the way is filmed, so much early 2000s.

  Also I could watch anything Joe Odagiri and Tadanobu Asano forever <3

  I’ve seen parts of this before sometime during my teenage years but I never gave it my full attention and now that I did, it felt like a warm hug. 

  Pinky promises and swearing on your mother’s life reminded me of my childhood years. Bike riding with friends and going on random adventures that did not make any sense but having fun with every minute of it regardless. Time wasn’t an issue, days felt shorter.
