A consistent favourite of mine, particularly because it’s directed by Wes Anderson. I absolutely love the animation style, the flow of scenes filled with energy contrasted with abrupt and brief shots. This creates a beautiful staccato and smooth blend of scenes. The claymation never fails to astound me, especially with the fluidity of characters movements. The quoting potential the movie has is fantastic as well and suitably reflects reality of life through an animalistic nature. The music once again perfectly underscores the scenes with varying degrees of emotion and energy. A fantastic movie to enjoy, admire and appreciate. Pun Intended.

The actor layout was perfect, with each one continuously providing a new intriguing element to the film and emphasising the emotional and psychological depth of relationships.…
