Shithouse 2020
Cooper Raiff did a fantastic job with this one considering it’s his debut film and is only 23. Along with directing and writing this, he also cast himself as the main character.
An intimate, quiet yet effective micro budget film covering the emotions around leaving home for college for the first time and trying to figure it out. It focuses on how love, kindness and acceptance really does tend to make or break us especially when we are in our formative years. Really genuine performances and film making. An enjoyable film that is all too relatable to many.
