Puss in Boots: The Last Wish 2022
There's just so much to love about this movie, and even more so since no body really expected something on this level from a Puss in Boots sequel. All the characters are welcome players, the comedy regularly hits, the animation is just beautiful, and there's a maturity to Puss' story here that leads to some chilling appearances from Death and an earned character arc. This has made me cry with each viewing, and I think we all deserve a dog like Perrito.

Better Man 2024
Simply dazzling, exciting, emotional, and honest. Better Man is an appropriate title for a movie that's so much better than your average biopic. The fact that Robbie Williams is a chimpanzee doesn't even register very quickly, and becomes thematically obvious why that artisitc decision was made here.
Everyone in the UK knows of Williams, and his most legendary songs are played here, and given new meaning, as well some awe-inspiring and heart-stopping visuals. The Greatest Showman director knows exactly how to deliver top-tier musical sequences.
