You might think this movie is about cruelty, but it's about mercy. Or maybe you think the film is about war and hate, but it's about love and peace. This is a film about parallel themes, and its plot is parallel.
You will be scared, but not from horror, but from understanding how people lived. You will be shocked at the end, because Villeneuve knows how to make a movie that paralyzes at the end.
This movie was directed by Johnny Depp, showing honestly himself as the main character rather than Modigliani.
There are a couple of good jokes and interesting thoughts, but it doesn't make the film particularly unique. I would call it typical, but good as a debut film (yes, Depp already had a movie 30 years ago, he tried again)
amazing how a 45-year-old movie makes tense moments better than some modern ones, and the purity of the love line is expressed in such a way that you want to dream about it
