Patel and Hardy were both absolutely incredible in this, somewhat messy screenplay.
I think the representation of fem/non masc queerness was an interesting one. I almost feel like they wanted to portray the ‘struggles’ that are synonymous with transness but not commit to any actual trans characters. Which feels offensive.
