Way too much fourth wall breaking. It felt like that annoying kid who made you laugh once so now they repeat the same joke over and over.
Also, that one death scene was too much. If you leave out the real world drama it feels completely unjustified and breaks the Deadpool character‘s motivation.
Still a great time. I love it when comic book movies don’t take themselves too seriously.
I’ve seen a bunch of short films made by stunt people. The core idea being “imagine if we stunties got together and made our own film.”
I’m glad someone finally did it.
This was a fun, well cast homage to moviemaking.
Good fun, but the film is too in love with the original. I left wanting to see Russel Crowe’s Maximus in the arena rather than spend any more time with Mescal’s whatever his name is.
