Felt a little over indulgent at key points but Corbet delivers on several breathtaking and beautiful sequences. The score feels immense to match the scale and ambitions of the character, and it really carries you through a film that’s too long and whose first half was far superior to the second.

Killers of the Flower Moon 2023
The best movie from Scorsese since Wolf of Wall Street, Leo really locks into the role as the movie progresses. Scorsese relies on some familiar crime story tropes but gives the scenes of murder and manipulation none of the energy of Goodfellas or Casino, showing us the cold, indifferent nature of a conspiracy on this scale. The ending is transcendent and immediately my favorite of his.
