I just remembered this movie existed and decided to watch it again for the first time in 25 years. I can’t decide how much of the cheesiness is the movie itself versus just 1999. It definitely shows its age in places, but I still mostly enjoyed it. I also just tonight realized there was a directors cut, so I watched the alternate scenes, too. For my money, the theatrical cut is clearly better. The big win for this movie is the cast. Also, I feel like I personally deserve several stars for actually watching a movie.

Twisters 2024
It feels a little like someone asked ChatGPT to summarize all the elements of Twister that people like and then they assembled those like legos into this. A lot of very predictable plot held together with a modicum of charisma and dramatic staring at the sky. I will say, they did nail the modernized Helen Hunt wardrobe for Kate.
