Best documentary I saw at SXSW 2025! This documentary was so inspiring. I didn’t know much about who she was or her family but as a Latina who doesn’t speak much Spanish I was so moved by Selena and her family to reconnect with my Colombian side. It was all archival footage and family interviews which made it feel so personal. I ran into the director and her sister in the bathroom lol and she was SO sweet, perfect person to direct the film.
