This film is just a gem. The awe of experiencing the forces of nature through kitty POV… it teared me up. What it may lack in the plot department, it compensates everywhere else: breathtaking animation, incredibly immersive camera work (those long shots are *chef's kiss*), music score and just creative earnestness. And while my initial amazement did subside by the end as it stretched out a little too long — it still holds as one of the most remarkable animations…

so I finally got to watch this I guess classic of modern Bulgarian cinema (no that it's that great, there's just not a lot of competition for the "classic" tittle).

I actually mostly enjoyed it, as much as I can enjoy that high energy macho style of filmmaking so reminiscent of Fight club or early Guy Richie movies. Also the kind of vengeful but righteous been-through-a-lot-in-my-life character Zahari Baharov plays in literally all his hit roles (think the Undercover series).…
