I felt many ways watching this. If anything, I felt what the person with the disease was experiencing. Fear, uncertainty, endlessness, emptiness, chaos. All the associated feelings is based off what I was able to see. And in the context, “The last thing I think I saw,” the depth of perception physically and mentally became blurred so far the point that reality is what was thought, not real. At least in the physical sense, it wasn’t real. But to us and the subject of the film, entirely real. Yet in the back of the mind, the disease, the thought of it, remains.
