  I hate how consistently Arnold's one liners make me genuinely laugh.

  Eerily similar to every other '80s sci-fi pulpfest but as a product of its time, I enjoyed it precisely the way it was meant to be enjoyed.

  I like that this movie just kind of wraps up about when Spielberg decides he’s bored of the aliens. Want a blockbuster under 2 hours? Just set a timer on your villain.

  Gives me a lot of hope that Spielberg takes the sauce he developed here for “The Dish”, or whatever he ends up calling it.

  Had to toss a Wilhelm scream in there just to assure everyone that Bong knew exactly what movie he was making.

  Really liking what I’ve been seeing from Naomi Ackie, such great presence. 

  Throw in a “Taxi Driver” homage and I’m enjoying myself quite a bit. Everyone clearly had fun with this one, so don’t take it so seriously guys.
