Very interesting twist on 12 angry men. Script was nowhere near as tight, but I did enjoy some of the additions and variations on that same structure. Also, the entire movie rested on Nicholas Hoult’s performance and I think he pulled it off really well.

The Evil Dead 1981
If I had known more about these movies going in, I probably would have enjoyed this more. Only really figured out the style at the end, but also at some points, it was hard to tell if the movie was trying to be campy or actually trying to be serious. Later movies have figured out that line much better.

The storyline was a little weird, didn’t really know what the vibe of the movie was supposed to be, the comedy kinda threw me off sometimes. That said, the movie was pretty funny, some truly hilarious scenes. Unsure why everyone hated it so much.
