It's Jason Statham's Bee analogies that really make this an Oscar caliber type film. I'll also go out of my way to say that Emmy Raver-Lampman's performance fell flat, almost as if she knew the script was a joke but hey a gig's a gig.

Finally got around to watching this after all these years, especially since Netflix fixed the language settings (not sure when that was done but i'm glad I watched it now since the film is leaving the streaming service at the end of March 2025).
