  I really love how Steven Spielberg spoon feeds the ending to you. It’s not enough to see that there’s a break-in at the Democratic Headquarters, but in case you’re really not sure you get a dramatic “Watergate!” to really make the point

  i swear any movie that has a trump-like character doesn’t understand subtlety. you would think that the writing would be enough to make the audience go “huh, that character is a narcissistic trigger-happy fascist” but no, you also gotta put up with mark ruffalo doing his best attempt at a trump impression for two hours just in case you weren’t smart enough to get it

  Why should Caesar just get to stomp around like a giant while the rest of us try not to get smushed under his big feet? Brutus is just as cute as Caesar, right? Brutus is just as smart as Caesar, people totally like Brutus just as much as they like Caesar, and when did it become okay for one person to be the boss of everybody because that's not what Rome is about! We should totally just STAB CAESAR
