I think I am the only person who didn't like it. It was 2.5 hours and felt like 3 hours. I also watched a lot of crime/murder mysteries and felt like the film was extremely predictable. Spoilers ahead. To give a couple of examples, of course, she had an affair, of course, the son wasn't born blind and became blind after an accident, etc.

I had no idea what the film was about when I saw it and was positively surprised! Great holiday film to see and the acting performances were incredible. I wished they had a bigger budget because I could spot some historical inaccuracies in the background, especially when they were in Boston.

It's a lot but the more time passed the more I like it! Emma’s acting is truly outstanding, but the entire cast went above and beyond. Production design and costumes are impeccable!
