Boring. Didn't make sense. Irish accents on peoe with English names and English religion? Production value is good but everything else about this flick bored me to tears.

Great movie. Love Hopkins in this one. Not sure how much license they took with this story but it's entertaining.
What is this mess of movie? It's visually interesting but the whole rest of it is utter tripe. The editing is so confusing like it was made from off cuts. Some strange scene cuts that just take you out of the movie watching experience. Horrid stuff
This movie was a slow burn to nothing. I'm not sure what he was thinking with the odd shots, out of focus tracking and cut off views but it was incredibly annoying. The acting throughout was just terrible and not one character was likeable. The only good thing about it was the popped corn.
I've seen this before and I loved the follow up tv show. It's well acted, a great allegory for refugees and immigrants. Super enjoyable and not at all dated. In fact probably even more relevant today than it ever was.
A fun watch though quite dated and with only a loose grasp of the moral lesson that you could get away with in the 80's. This movie has the appearance of a Saturday big movie but it's got some dark edges.
One of my favorites, and seeing as it's -8 and snowing here it was a fitting watch. Danny Kaye steals the show as usual
Pretty underwhelmed by this show. Interesting but bland and unoriginal. Incredibly predictable and few likeable characters to root for.
I don't get the hype.
An intriguing look into this guy's life and how unconventional it all is. I didn't know his story so it was all new for me, tense, funny, heartwarming and heartbreaking.
