The Electric State 2025
Honestly? I didn’t hate this. Yes, it’s bad but I still had some fun with this. The plot is full of cliches, the writing is mediocre at best, and the directing just feels super safe. Some of the acting also just feels like the actors were only there for the money. The one positive thing I have to say, is I do think a lot of CG actually looked pretty decent. Watchmen: Chapter I 2024
Honestly, this captures the essence of the source material far better than I thought it would. The tone especially. That being said, it still has many of the problems these animated direct to video movies have (writing, animation, pacing, etc.). If you can look past those faults, the movie is still pretty decent.
It is, however, still only half of a movie. But for a first part, this wasn’t bad. I will say, I still prefer the live-action film (so far). Looking forward to chapter 2.
