Where was the heart? Confusing villain motivations, poorly shot action sequences, and weird character motivations from Diana had me scratching my head the whole time. At least it was nice to see Kristen Wiig do something different!

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo 2011
Unlike some others who saw the original film, I thought Fincher's take on the material was beautifully shot and well acted. Rooney steals every scene as Lisbeth, who could be one of the most complex and interesting female leads in recent memory. Strong supporting cast, great soundtrack, and an incredibly mind-bending opening sequence.
