  Matt Reeves' Batman is less about Batman and more about Gotham; which it portrays quite aesthetically. Lightings that make full use of the nocturnal setting, costumes and mise-en-scene that prioritised rationality over blind comic-accuracy than ever before, and a plot setting that explored the crime city of Gotham.

  Life is a drama and we are all actors in it; choosing a mask out of many for each act and character.

  Can one truly abandon the act and repudiate their mask?
  Does something truly exist beneath the superficial mask?
  What's genuine; the credible mask or the shrouded face?

  ...a shower of incoherent scenarios and unanswered questions is exactly what this movie offered. The level of ambiguity maintained by the plot is almost frightening and concurrently fascinating.
