Wow. I can't believe I had doubt that a sequel to such a phenomenal first film would even come close to achieving it’s predecessors success and impact, and yet here I am, eating my words. I am almost afraid to be optimistic that this series will come to a satisfying conclusion, yet here is the evidence right in front of me that the people behind this work truly care about telling a compelling story.
If you enjoyed Into the Spiderverse,…
That staircase scene was one of the most Looney Tunes ass scenes
I can’t believe this film is what spawned a franchise. Like it’s fine, there are some things where I was like “That was pretty cool” but for the most part, that was pretty average
The level of stress I felt was so intense, I thought I was going to have a heart attack watching this film. A film about the man behind the creation of man-made disaster, and what its creation implies.
A true horror film
I feel like if you were to remove all of Alan Silvestri’s music, this movie would be a lot more terrifying
I would have liked a series chronicling Steve’s WWII exploits and introduce more of Cap’s rouges gallery, but alas
Coming back to this really showed how much more heart Marvel’s older films had as opposed to how they currently feel; Just pushing out a product to fill a quota rather than putting people in charge that actually feel passion for the source material.
As a kid, I very much believed that these were just asshole kids who deserved to be in detention and didn’t understand the appeal of such a vulgar film.
As an adult, I see 5 kids with very different archetypes but share one common problem, they all feel alienated and misunderstood. While they may not all suffer the same way, they still suffer nonetheless. And the bonding they go through as they understand this uniform suffering. It’e nice and sad.…
When I watched Pinocchio, I told myself it would be the first and last time I see a Disney live action adaptation. Well, sometimes we have to swallow our pride and do thing for the ones we care for most…
That being said, I feel like the way I can convey my thoughts about this movie in a meaningful way, is by focusing on the film’s version of one of my all time favorite Disney songs, Under the Sea.
Under…
I can’t think of a better way to end the Ferris Bueller trilogy. Bravo
The fact that i’ve heard every song but one in this film is a testament to its cultural significance. I do gotta say though, I don’t feel it really needed the part with the Nazis. I felt it wrapped up well after the Gazebo confrontation near the end
