  In true Baudrillardian fashion, nothing is real. Or this film wants you to think like that. Seeing this in 2025 is even more horrifing then when it aired. Nevertheless the true nature of the problem of politics isn't only a spectacle as it seems on the surface, in fact this spectacle is only a grid layered on a physical reality and is that reality that dictates how the grid is layed.   Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse 2018

  Only thing good in here is the animation and some of the jokes.
  Marvel tried to make a diversity spiderman and okey thats cool but its just ends up like Corporate Memphis without adressing the real power relationships.
  And making his dad a "nice cop", c'mon that's like i have a black friend card.
  Even the emotional aspects are super obvious and it all ends up like a buttered toast instead of an ethnic meal.
  But maybe i just don't like the american myths about being better than eveyone.
