some glorious overacting from gregory peck at times here and one of the scariest scores ever. fuck mrs baylock right enough.
great to see all this sort of archive footage on the big screen and hear the music in a proper setting but there’s nothing in this documentary (with the exception of a john bonham unheard interview) that no LZ fan hasn’t seen before. very clean cut and essentially a massive montage of the first two albums and associated tour photos. also wish i had known before seeing it that nothing after 1970 is covered, it only focuses on LZ1 and 2. ultimately it fell a bit flat for myself and john but they are still the greatest band to ever exist 👍🏻
