Vertigo had a suspenseful plot and interesting plot twist. I particularly enjoyed the voyeuristic shots during the scenes when Scottie follows Madeleine. Additionally, the mystery of the film was intriguing and developed significant suspense throughout the beginning of the film. The ending was sorrowful and marked the second time Scottie experienced the death of the same person.
The film had interesting shots, many of which had obstructed views of characters, symbolizing the facade of the characters' emotions throughout the plot. However, the movie seemed too dragged out, boring, and the plot didn't seem to move anywhere. The ending was mediocre as well since the two main characters parted ways instead of getting rid of the facade and admitting their feelings for each other.

The Matrix is certainly an interesting film about the possibility of AI taking over and trapping humans in a simulation while feeding off their energy to survive. Additionally, the futuristic technology and the manipulation of the matrix, such as when Neo was able to stop bullets, contributed to the fascinating world of The Matrix. However, the pacing of the plot during the beginning was rather slow and although it was done for worldbuilding purposes, I didn't enjoy how long it took to get engaged in the plot.
