  Bonhoeffer: Pastor. Spy. Assassin 2024

  Weirdly melodramatic and boring. Cinematography has a very strong "Hollywood emotional film" vibe to it - which isn't good when it's something noticible. The writing has some solid lines, but they're completely overshadowed by the many other far more corny lines.
  They also somehow managed to make Nazis feel... tame almost? Mind you, I'm not asking for more violence or cruelty. But it feels weird when they break into someone's house to arrest them, but give them plenty of time to say goodbye to their family.
  In short, this movie is a damn shame, as the real story of Bonhoeffer is fascinating.
