Paddington in Peru 2024
Just a delightful film, rounding out a delightful trilogy.
Serious themes of greed, heritage, culture, family all wrapped in charming moments.
We learn some pretty significant things about Paddingtons origin, tied into some ancient mythology. Really some nice surprises, and powerful moments.
At its root, this is an adventure film and a mystery. The performances were great. Such an enjoyable movie!

An intense, well-paced, beautiful film. The acting was truly amazing, the costumes, sets were superb. The color was great.
Mostly very serious, drama unfolding, stunning movie. At moments it was fun, seeing a cardinal struggling to use a copy machine, and a group of old cardinals smoking and being petty.
The camera shots felt conservative, with artistic frames/angles/compositions sprinkled throughout. A gaggle of cardinals walk through a courtyard shot from above, with the crimson cloaks and white umbrellas slowly filling…
