Mean Girls 2024
For a movie that LOOKS amazing with probably some of the best movie musical cinematography I’ve seen in years, it is not a good adaptation of the broadway musical, nor is it a good remake of the original film. It seems to not be able to decide which one it’s trying to be more, so while the actors seem like they’re having fun, the lackluster pre-production choices make this movie irredeemably frustrating when it’s meant to be fun.
