Without a doubt an important topic that needs to be told as part of a cultural healing process. Unfortunately the slow pacing and overall narrative structure held the film back - at least in my mind.

A wonderful little film that balances joy and sadness really well. It somehow gave me a warm feeling while simultaneously ripping my heart out multiple times. Could‘ve probably shortened it a bit but overall a great experience.
