Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon 2000
It’s always so good to watch a film you saw a child, like even back then you knew was great but only with age and knowledge can you genuinely appreciate the art of film making.

The Zone of Interest 2023
Subtext, everything that the character not say. As any good story I felt this emotional conflict. Empathise with the family and knowing that there suffering that they benefit from. That there peace relies on the destruction of other lives. I feel this resonates with the current. It’s danced over how some people can be at “war” and in bondage.
