I was expecting a silly romcom and instead got a guy who abuses and isolates his sentient computer who just wants company, and has been isolated long enough that he starts lashing out at others to get any attention he can.
A REALLY sad movie that has its sweet moments, but has the most shockingly unlikable human guy lead.On the other hand, Edgar is my special little guy, and I really wish he got better treatment :(

A VERY interesting movie about a human and a very charming ai slowly bonding over horrible circumstances in which they are both prisoners. The ai is incredibly likable, and VERY sympathetic without falling into the usual ‘I wish I was human’ pitfall. I actually may have cried at the end??? Listen. They made a good 2001: ASO parallel.
