This movie feels so raw. It's like other Kitano movies, but barebones. Although, I would recommend to watch Sonatine, Boiling Point, and Hana-Bi over this one, I still liked it.

This is almost superhero movie. Main character just straightup can't die no matter what. Everybody are not people but like these theatrical characters that are like yakuza through and through with no personalities. Things happened just because they needed to happen. But nontheless it's fun and interesting movie to watch with great music.
Also, this movie helped me understand Sonatine by Takeshi Kitano better because now I see that Takeshi Kitano wanted to show yakuza as people, not just some…Translated from by -

The last act calls for a rewatch and some pondering. A good, quality watch.
Some comments:
-Very surprising and "wait what?!" choice of music in the end.
-Some of the tracking shots (or whatever they are called) look like straight up out of modern movie. Very smooth and just nice.
