  I’ll be thinking about this movie for a while. I don’t know what I think of it, but I know it felt good watching it. It was the film I needed to see today- a reminder that people are good and our collective lives and the future are worth fighting for.

  Don’t read Erik’s review. He’s wrong. Mike Mills rules, and this film is beautiful. What a tender and warm and heartbreaking portrait of what it’s like to become a person in the world, your development equal parts incidental and intentional, the people surrounding you marking you for life. This movie reminded me so much of my childhood and it was just perfect, and again, Erik is so wrong about Mike Mills.
