Heat 1995
This film is mentioned on The Rewatchables like every other episode, so figured I would give it a shot. The moment when Pacino and De Niro are on camera together is perhaps the greatest acting moments ever…no joke. However, it’s not a 4.5-5 for me because (and I don’t like admitting this) the supporting characters (not actors) don’t really carry their weight. Except Waingro, who you really hate but the character works. Also, could’ve had a better Eady? Not sure a character like Neil would fall for someone like her.

The Secret Life of Walter Mitty 2013
I went and saw this movie on a whim one afternoon in college (yes I said afternoon). I can’t remember who with, but I remember leaving the theatre kind of mind blown. The music, the look of the film, the structure, all of it…I don’t know. It didn’t feel like any other movie I had seen before. Just watched it recently for at least the 10th time…it’s even better now than then. Original critics got this waaaaay wrong.
