Past Lives 2023
Rewatched this again and I found it even more incredible.
Following two characters through their independent yet intertwined lives felt so relatable to me. The narrative is one that everyone has experienced in some fashion.
The film carried tension through every minute. The conversations felt authentic and vulnerable and real.
Truly special movie.

Joe Rogan: Burn the Boats 2024
I like Joe Rogan.
I dislike woke culture. I like weed, and alien theories. I dislike the lack of critical thinking that occurs in society today across the entire political spectrum.
The reality is this wasn’t funny. There were a few decent one liners throughout but they were so few and far in between that none of them stick out.
It’s lame stoner comedy with a few quips on vaccines, homosexuality, etc.
Feels like Rogan hasn’t put thought into good comedy since he lived in 2010.
