Bull 2021
Tuesday evening and Kaz has chipped off early to watch another episode of All Creatures Great & Small. I fancied something a bit more boysie so whacked on Bull.
Yep, here we go.. Essex gangster revenge flick, lowestcom'dom' maybe bit generic, deffo violently stabby and choppy but with a genuine well played menace from the leads. Cuts between jarring flashbacks and tense
present but as it reaches its climax.. (no spoilers)

Ooh that was a surprise. For a Netflix horror which are usually a bit lame, I found this a genuinely rather spooky watch. If you can get over the premise of how a bunch of teens would get hold of this improbable 'thing' (no spoliers) and that half of them are idiots, this had some good moments.

Just awful. Thought it might be a chuckle of Halloween evening romp but plot written by an uninterested 12 year old that makes your average Marvel look like Shakespeare. The soundtrack beyond cheese and couldn't wait for it to end so I could go and tidy up the kitchen. Luckily my wife fell asleep so I could bale out.
Half a star for a bit of splashy gore and half for Nick Hoult reminding me how good The Great was..Avoid..
