I can't go into a critically panned superhero film with an objective mind if the second scene features a paramedic behind the wheel of an ambulance grinning as she's nonchalantly swerving through traffic, casually commenting on passerby's while someone is supposedly dying in the back of the ambulance over an upbeat pop song playing in full swing.

Leave it to David Fincher to make thrilling the mundane and boring job of Fassbender's assassin character staking out his target and whereabouts before executing his contract (pun intended).
I'm not familiar with the source material but I wouldn't have guessed this meticulous sociopath to have a) a girlfriend and b) enough emotions still to execute a revenge plot on the people who stiffed him after a job gone wrong.
This didn't play out as I had expected but overall…
