  Just thought of this: Both Nosferatu and the Phantom of the Opera are the exact same archetype. The grotesque, obsessive, all-powerful lurker that brings chaos and terror while being completely irresistible to Ellen & Christine's subconscious.

  Animation has never been more democratized. For a film like this to win an Oscar, it’s nothing short of a miracle. The gates are wide open, and I fully expect a heavy wave of independent animated features to come.

  BIG FAN of The first Borat. I was excite to hear about this one. 

  Despite my excitement, this felt very staged and contrived, taking away from the rawness and god-tier comedy found in the original (along with his Ali-G series). It didn’t feel real.
