ethan is such a yearner in this one. again, this was one of my favorites as a youth, but i like it less on the rewatch. you can start to feel the shift from the first two movies into the rest, and they really start pinning down ethan hunt as a character here. his stupid little jokes and one-liners (humpty dumpty, "what's up?"
