This movie doesn’t surprise you in any way while watching, its premise is straightforward and its twists are predictable, but honestly I feel it did not have any missteps. It is focused, the dialogue never crossed into the realm of cringe worthy, the pacing never lagged, the characters were likable and well designed. Visually it is always a feast for the eyes, and the themes are touching in their own timeless way. All in all it feels fairly boiler plate, but if boiler plate movies were always this good, I’d watch a hell of a lot more movies.
