  I liked it, I’m not sure why this gets so much hate, besides the fact that Kubrick has made better movies. But this on its own was great, for what it is.

  Saw it in a theatre, it should be watched there so you’re “in” it. 
  If you’re aware this is a stylized movie that doesn’t really go anywhere plot wise / has a weird dream-like feel (explaining the weird dialog), it’s good.

  Went in 100% blind, no trailer no nothing. Guessed within 15 minutes that this was written and directed by a woman because of the gross misunderstanding of male sexuality and behaviors.

  I like how Ben leans into the look / style of “I hate skating” sometimes.

  Also noise music in a skate video? Insanely cool.

  Every frame and transition is fucking perfect.

  I walk by a lot of these spots and holy shit, no wonder New York skaters have so much pop, almost all of this shit is waist high
