No wonder this won an Oscar. My favorite parts about this one were probably the long shots and all of the acting performances. Young Christopher Walken was a standout for me. I was simply not familiar enough with his game. I don't know what else to say, just go watch it!

This one did not hit for me at all by the end. By no means is it a bad movie necessarily. There were a lot of great ideas, but some of them were glossed over way too quickly. The best thing I can say about this movie is that it's iconic. The xenomorphs, the quotes, the acting - all fantastic. All of that said, I do think I'm more of an Alien person than an Aliens person, but that's really just personal preference. I prefer the set design and editing of Alien, but I do love the world-building in this sequel and Ripley as a character here. All of that said, still iconic and still a great watch.
